ATTENDING THE LISTENER is focused on meeting the needs of the audience/listener.

A cohort of 12 people will work together and one-on-one with David and members of the faculty to help the storyteller adapt to all rooms.

Learning Outcomes of ATTENDING THE LISTENER include:


  • Develop an appreciation and reframing of making mistakes.


  • Deepen your empathy and learn how to properly contain it.


  • Entering every environment and meeting every group of people with a sense of possibility and magic.


  • Navigate surprises with grace and make decisions with confidence to meet those surprises.


  • Practice with instructors how to adapt RS to your community as well as how to become a teacher of RS.

A few Particulars:



  • Each training meets for a 12-week block alternating between 90 minute small group gatherings one week, and 20 minute individual consultation with David the other week.
  • TRAINING FOR ATTENDING THE LISTENER cohort meets Wednesdays at 8PM ET.
  • We use the Zoom webinar password protected platform. 
  • All group sessions are recorded if you miss a session or want to watch it again.
  • We have a community forum where we share our experiences and be in support of one another.


Group Meeting Time and Dates

Training for Telling the Story cohort will be meeting every other Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern Time starting on February 1 for six weeks:

Our Refund Policy

If your circumstances change and you will not be able to attend the training that you enrolled in, we have the following options:



  • Cancellations made within 30 days of purchase: We can offer a refund of your payment less $100 which we applied to save your spot.



  • Cancellations made after 30 days of purchase: We can apply your payment toward your enrollment in a future session.
